Women in the West
Wagon Train |

|
| This is an all womens wagon train.
Teamsters will include women and men. You'll get to relax, see some great country, journal
on your time and put your feet in the cool, clear water. You can see the stars at night
and you'll sleep peacefully in your range teepee. There is a wonderful balance between
travel on the trail and camp time. |

Day 1: Arrive in Casper and go to Willow Creek Ranch
You'll be taken to this remote working cattle and horse ranch. Be sure to get all you need
while in Casper because the nearest grocery story is far from here. Enjoy a hearty western
evening meal and go to sleep where the silence is lovely. |
|
Day 2: Wagons Ho!
You've got your gear and are headed to Cassidy camp. This camp is lovely with a great
stock pond for the horses and mules. Great hiking in this area with lots of big miles. |
|
Day 3: Travel to Piney Top
You can see for 200 miles from this camp. View the lights of Casper and see stars that you
didn't know existed. Set you teepee among the pines and relax to your hearts content. The
pull to this camp is a challenge for the teams and theyre up for it! |
|
Day 4: Hole in the Wall Camp
Youll travel 20 miles today and get to experience what the pioneers did except you
have a cooler of good water. This camp is beautiful, remote, historic and the travel there
is unsurpassed. A wide-open space does not describe the journey |
|
Day 5: Back to Willow Creek and Casper
You've experienced the wide open spaces and lure of the old West. You've
seen things that few people do; an eagle circling at dusk, the eerie howl of a
coyote at night and now it's time to tell all your friends about your experience. We
hope you come and join us again and again! |
